In Chandigarh, there are a lot of colleges. Some are government and some are private engineering colleges. Though there are a lot of colleges but I would suggest you to go for IGEF (Indo Global Group of Colleges). IGEF is a very famous college in Chandigarh with good placement.

IIT, Ropar is the best engineering institute in the state of Punjab. NIT Jullander, PEC University-Chandigarh, and Thapar University are other equally good option for doing graduation degree in engineering.

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology takes students on the basis of marks secured in JEE. Placement varies from branch to branch like computer Science has 100 percent.
