If you study properly with good dedication and hard work, scoring good marks becomes easy. But if you take studies lightly, it can be tough. Chandigarh University gives a fair chance to everyone. The syllabus is not too hard. If you attend classes and revise, you can score well. Some questions are easy, some are tricky, but nothing is out of syllabus.

During orientation week, the university shows everything about the university to new students. Orientation week includes campus tours, interacting with teachers, fun games, and workshops. Students learn about rules, study material, and everything around the campus. Clubs also show what they do so that you can join whatever you like. The week participates in social events to interact with peers and find out about campus clubs and societies.

The new session 2025 for new students at Chandigarh University will be starting from July end or August starting, For freshers, the Orientation Week is from July 23rd to 29th where the students will learn a lot about university life, rules and policies, about faculty, facilities, other and the classes will be starting after orientation will end.

At least 75% attendance is a must. Even if you're good at studying, if your attendance is short, you won't be allowed to sit for exams. I saw a few students struggle just because they didn't take this seriously. So it's better to attend your classes regularly, it saves a lot of stress later.

To qualify for Chandigarh's CUCET to secure a seat for BSc in Forensic Science, the subjects required are Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. In addition, the candidate must get ready in sections of English Language, General Awareness, Mathematical Aptitude and Analytical Skills.

No, you can't get direct admission in MBA at Chandigarh University. To get admission, you have to give an entrance test called CUCET (Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test). It is compulsory. The syllabus and test is also very simple and easy and also gives a chance for scholarships.
When students pass CUCET, they can get a scholarship but to keep it the scholarship maintained students need to meet certain rules. The most important thing is the CGPA. At the end of every year, students must have a minimum CGPA of 7.5 to renew the scholarship. This pushes students to do well in studies and keep their focus.

Chandigarh University gives sample question papers for CUCET on its official exam site. You just need to go to cucet.cuchd.in. On the website, there is a section where you can find all the sample papers. Just click, download, and start your practice. The papers come in PDF format, so you can save them and use them offline too.

Yes, yes gym facilities are free for all the hostlers at Chandigarh University, there is no need to pay anything or take any membership and the gym is inside the campus building, so it's easy for students to use. All students who live in the hostel can use the gym. There is no extra charge for that. Sometimes, there might be fixed timings or slots for using the gym.
So overall, if you stay in a hostel at Chandigarh University, you can use the gym without paying anything extra. It is part of the hostel facilities.
