The computing facilities at Chandigarh University for AI & ML specialisation are among its the biggest strengths. IBM has set up software labs for advanced learning, which include environments for natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and computer vision. These labs are fully integrated with the course curriculum, so students regularly apply their learning on real tools. Along with IBM's support, CU provides cloud-enabled systems, coding platforms, and simulation tools to support hands-on learning. These labs are not just for assignments but also for internships and live projects in partnership with IBM. The focus is on

As far as I know, I would like to clarify that Chandigarh University does not offers B.Tech in CSE, it offers B.E. in CSE, which is way better.

And you know what, the engineering programme at the university is globally recognized. It has accreditations from the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). This means the degree is valued not just in India but all over the world. The dept has advanced labs like the Microsoft Innovation Centre, IBM Software Lab and Virtusa Robotics & Automation Center. Students get to work on real-time projects and learn through workshops, s

Placements for BE CSE in Information Security at Chandigarh University are quite mixed but still provide good scope. Some of the highest salaries go really high, like 1.7 crore internationally and more than 50 LPA in India from companies like Paloalto Networks, Charter Global, and Google. On the other hand, average packages are around 8 to 9 LPA, while several students also get 3.5 to 5 LPA through companies such as Wipro, IBM, and Capgemini. Global recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon, and Accenture visit along with Indian IT giants like HCL, Tech Mahindra and Bosch. It is not the case that everyone gets high packages, but students with

There are always a lot of activities for the law department at Chandigarh University with some very exciting activities that keep them engaged and allow them to vibe with the legal world. It's not the usual grind of studying; they bring the real world into their classroom.

What with expert talks of legal experts such as retired judges, advocates, and others taking legal pros to all levels on topics such as PILs, Land Laws, even the very buzz-worthy subject of the Sabarimala judgment – this is not just a lecture; it's practically an exclusive Q&A where you get to pose any questions and get back the legit answers from the OGs in t

CU's on-campus recruitment for CSE students is quite favourable. The university has equipped students with labs, project work, and IBM-sponsored certifications, which help them during the hiring process. Because CSE with specialisations (like Data Science, AI/ML, Cloud) is offered, recruiters often target students who have exposure to the latest tools and technologies. The placement cell organises mock interviews, coding boot camps, and resume review sessions to help students become more confident. Student batches are large, giving recruiters multiple candidates to choose from.

Also, CU's engineering wing being ranked 31 in NIRF 2025 he

Networking is covered through the CISCO lab, while soft skills are shaped in communication labs. Some labs focus on projects and team-driven learning, while others allow research on machine learning, image processing, or cyber security. Every student has to do internships in reputed places. Some get chance with offices of senior lawyers, law firms like J Sagar Associates, Amarchand & Mangaldas, Sridhar Laxmi Narayan, and Indus Law. One of the most interesting parts of the law department is Madhyastha-Centre of Excellence. It teaches students how to solve legal issues in court in a peaceful way. They even show how AI can help in legal matters. It is a great way to learn practical skills.

If you're interested in cloud computing, Chandigarh University is a good choice because the programme is designed to match industry needs.
