Absolutely, Chandigarh University has ranked as the best private university for research in North India, according to NIRF 2025. In its very first entry into the Research category, CU secured the 34th position in India, giving strong competition to other universities. Chandigarh University has made steady progress in NIRF 2025. It is ranked 19 among universities, better than 20 last year. In the overall list, it is 32, same as before. The subject results show positive moves. Engineering went up to 31 from 32. Management improved to 32 from 36. Pharmacy made a good jump from 20 to 15. Architecture is now 14, almost same as 13 last year. The biggest highlight is the research ranking, where the university entered for the first time and scored 34 at national level.

Chandigarh University has performed very well in the overall NIRF rankings.it secured the 32nd rank in India among all the institutions which participated in the rankings.This is a great achievement for a private university that started in 2012. CU is also ranked 8th among all the private universities in India, and it is the No.1 private university in North India.These rankings shows strong outcomes in academics, placements, research, inclusivity, and perception.

The rank is very good for a private university, because it is not only in the top 10 in India but also at the first spot in North India and Punjab. In different areas like Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Architecture, the university has been ranked at 1st and 2nd place in Punjab.

Yes, Chandigarh University moved up in NIRF 2025. In the university category, it is now at 19th rank. Last year it was 20th. In the overall list, the rank is 32, which is the same as last year. Some subjects also improved. Engineering went to 31 from 32. Management moved to 32 from 36. Pharmacy jumped from 20 to 15. Research ranking came for the first time at 34. Only Architecture went one step down from 13 to 14. So overall, the university showed progress in most areas.

Chandigarh University's performance in NIRF 2025 is great. because it is not just limited to 1category. It is ranked in multiple categories. The university is ranked 31st in Engineering, 32nd in Management, 15th in Pharmacy, 14th in Architecture, and 34th in Research and has also jumped ranks as compared to last year. In the University category, CU is ranked 19th in India. These achievements  show that this university is not just strong in one area but has built excellence among multiple niches… These rankings show that students can trust the university and gain a lot of benefits from it.

In NIRF 2025, Chandigarh University secured the 32nd rank among all universities in India, which includes both government and private institutions including universities, colleges and institutions. Yes, Chandigarh University has maintained considerable consistency in NIRF 2025. In the overall list, it is at 32, exactly the same as the previous year. In the university category, it is at 19, moving one step up from 20 in 2024. This shows a steady rise without big falls. Engineering has moved from 32 to 31. Management improved its position from 36 to 32. From the field of Pharmacy, there was a rise from 20 to 15. The field of Architecture remained the same,14 this year and 13 last year.
