Purdue University's main campus is in West Lafayette, Indiana. The campus is spread over nearly 2,500 acres and is home to 13 colleges and schools. West Lafayette campus has two art galleries and more than 30 musical ensembles through which it offers various musical and theatrical events. The campus is also renowned for quality of life, safety, several parks, and high-tech corporations.

The University of Southern California (USC) and Purdue University offers quality MS in Computer Science programs to international students. The USC MS CS fees is around INR 38 L and Purdue MS in SC fees is around INR 25 L. Therefore, Purdue is good for international students to study MS in Computer Science in the USA.

Purdue University acceptance rate is nearly 50%, which means admissions are moderately tough. Students need to have a good academic record and meet all the eligibility requirements.

Purdue selects students based in very important factors like overall grades in their academics, essays, personal background and experiences, grades related to the major they want to pursue etc.

There is no compulsion to submit GRE scores for graduate programs at Purdue University. Students prefer to submit scores to create a positive impact on their resumes. They submit their scores during admission and their basic range was between 310 and 320. So we can conclude that Purdue University might accept these scores during graduate admissions.

According to the unofficial source, one of the best colleges, Purdue University, took the #46 spot among national universities. The university received more than 59,000 applications for the class of 2026. More than 40,000 were admitted to the university, including more than 10,000 enrolled.

Purdue University attracts students from all over the world because of its great academic reputation, accreditation from very well known organizations, a really good camus campus and a nice range of options.

Purdue University’s Mechanical Engineering programme is way better than Indiana’s program. As per the Shiksha Grading, the grading for Mechanical Engineering is A+ at Purdue whereas it is C+ at Indiana University Indianapolis. Along with the subject grading and overall university ranking, the Mechanical Engineering programme at Indiana lags in many ways, including the academic curriculum, research and career opportunities, placement rates, and faculties.

Purdue University is no doubt a better university than Indiana University Indianapolis. Purdue University ranked at the #43 place among National Universities where Indiana stands at #201.
