This scholars programme at this university encourages students from under-resources, urban and rural populations who have overcome socio-economic or educational disadvantages or are among the first generation in their family to attend college. Merit-based scholarships are offered to Purdue University Undergraduate students. These are awarded as per academic coursework, grades in coursework, application essay, SAT / ACT score (if provided), recommendation (if provided), personal background and experience, etc. A few of the university-wide scholarships that are offered for UG students are given as follows:
