Yes Purdue University is a Division 1 school. A few of the athletic teams of the university are pertaining to the sports football, basketball, golf, soccer, swimming & diving, volleyball, etc. There are 18 NCAA Division I/I-A NCAA teams. Also if students are competitive athlete they can check out the 30+ club sports. Also students can utilize the recreation center for all things related to wellness and recreation.
