Women in Engineering Program, formed in February 2013 in partnership with Rio Tinto and members of the Australian Power Institute (API) and the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA), is an initiative taken by the University of Queensland. The programme encourages women to pursue Engineering and build an impactful career for themselves. Currently, the programme is supported by 10 partners.

Yes, University of Queensland permits international students to work while studying. If you have a valid students visa. International students are permitted to work up to 48 hours every two-week period during university semesters and full-time hours during breaks if you have a valid student visa.
