Prospective international students of James Cook University - Brisbane can apply through QTAC - Undergraduate programs and JCU Official Application Portal - Graduate programs. Once an applicant has applied to JCU Brisbane, it takes the university about three weeks to notify the candidate about the admission decision. Applicants must keep in mind that they need to submit all the relevant documents in order to get their application in consideration.

Based on the ratio of admissions to applications, the JCU Brisbane acceptance rate stands at 79%. In order to secure an admission, all the international students must fulfill the JCU Brisbane admission requirements listed below:

1) Undergraduate Requirements:

  • Complete a recognised Year 12 programme or equivalent to the required standard; OR
  • All India Exam Senior School Certificate & CISCE/State Board or NIOS with overall score of 60-70% in Grade XII (Indian Students); and
  • Proof of English language proficiency.

2) Graduate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field;
  • Proof of English language proficiency;
  • Supporting written application; and

We have mentioned below the University of the Sunshine Coast requirements for international students for UG and PG admissions:

UG

  • Complete a minimum level of education similar to successful completion of Australian Year 12 with good grades
  • Must score a minimum grade average of 60% or better in the best 4 academic subjects in CBSE and CISCE or a minimum grade average of 65% average across the 4 best academic subjects in PSEB and HSEB
  • Meet UniSC's minimum English language requirements for your chosen program
