While, the Median package offered by KEC - Kongu Engineering College after completion of B.E. / B.Tech is INR 430,000. Basis these stats, Rajalakshmi Engineering College is better option compared to KEC - Kongu Engineering College on the Median salary parameter.

However, in terms of affordability, Rajalakshmi Engineering College is a better option since the total tuition fee for Rajalakshmi Engineering College is INR 150,000 - INR 200,000 and the total tuition fee for B.E. / B.Tech at PSGCT Coimbatore is INR 200,000 - INR 250,000.
In the total fees that students generally end up paying the university or the college, various other components are also included, such as the exam fee, application fee, lab and other charges.

The BTech fees at Rajalakshmi Engineering College vary depending on the programme you choose.  Based on several sources, the annual tuition fees for BTech programs at REC range from INR 1.5 Lakh to INR 2 lakh. However, there isn't readily available information on the fees for each specific BTech programme offered by REC.

Rajalakshmi Engineering College eligibility for all the UG and PG courses is entrance based, however, admission is offered on the basis the scores obtained by the candidates in various entrance exams accepted by the college. Yes, Rajalakshmi Engineering College does offer several scholarships to its students on all levels. REC scholarships are primarily merit-based scholarships, offered to students with good scores in the last qualifying and entrance exam. Rajalakshmi Engineering College accepts the TNEA scores for admission to its BE and BTech programmes. The admissions are done through the TNEA counselling. The institute offers BE and BTech programmes in numerous specialisations such as Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, and others.
