Manipal University Jaipur and Thapar University are both good universities, but the latter tends to rank higher in general and more particularly for the case of engineering programs. It has a stronger industry interface, research exposure, and faculty excellence that makes the latter a safer option for studying B.Tech in Biotechnology.

Sekhavati Ayurvedic College, Pilani, usually demands NEET scores for entry into its BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) course, as it is a common prerequisite for Ayurvedic courses in most medical colleges in India. Some private colleges, though, might provide seats under management quota or other types of alternative admission procedures, which need not always ask for NEET scores, although this is comparatively less frequent. It is advisable to call the college and ask for their particular admission procedure, availability of seats, and if they have any other admissions possible without NEET.

Having scored 116 in NEET, gaining admission into BAMS in Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University might prove tough, considering the cutoffs in private universities and government colleges are usually higher. But that still depends on the cutoff of the year, how many have applied, and whether there is vacant space available.
