MBBS is the most poppular programme offered by the college. The duration of the MBBS course is 4 ½ years followed by compulsory rotating internship training of one year. The intake capacity of under graduate MBBS course 180 every year. The admission to MBBS is based on the score of competitive exams like NEET followed by the councelling process comducted by the Medical Counselling Commitee.

Yes, hostel facilities are offered by RIMS Ranchi. There are hostels for both girls & boys. Hostel facilities like a common TV room equipped with an LCD TV having DTH connection, laundry, newspaper, magazine, cobbler etc. are given to the students.
