RCC Institute of Information Technology Kolkata acceptes scores from the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) & Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE-MAIN) for admission to B.Tech Programs. For admission, candidates must have passed 10+2 exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Candidate securing rank in PGET which is conducted by Maulana Abul Kalam University of Technology, West Bengal are eligible for admission in M.Tech courses through counselling conducted by MAKAUT, WB. Candidates qualifying GATE examination are also eligible to undergo two years postgraduate  M.Tech in RCCIIT, Kolkata. GATE scorers are entitled to obtain GATE scholarships.  

RCC Institute of Information Technology Kolkata is one of the oldest engineering colleges in the state.  It ranks within the top 10 private and government enginering colleges in the state. Though the institute has not yet featured in NIRF ranking, it has a strong research base with considerable number of publications, patent and copyright of the faculty members. The application fee for B.Tech at RCC Institute of Information Technology Kolkata is Rs 500 which is a one time payment. The admission fee is Rs. 10,000 and the per semester fee is Rs. 60,500. There are total 8th semesesters for B.Tech.  Along with some other miscellaneous fee the total fee for this 4 years course will be approx INR 6 Lakhs.

Fees are starting with INR 40,000 and will increase gradually for a few more years. While RCCIIT doesn't offer hostel facilities, there are much more affordable accommodations available in the form of PGs and local messes, helping maintain the overall expenditure in an economical way.
