The authority conducted the RRB JE CBT 2 Shift 2 2025 exam on June 4, 2025. Earlier, Railway Recruitment Board conducted the RRB JE CBT 2 2024-25 exam on April 22, 2025. Candidates who cleared the RRB CBT-1 exam were appeared in the RRB CBT-2 exam. The selection process of RRB JE consists of four stages, namely, first stage CBT 1, second stage CBT 2, document verification, and medical examination.

When RRB JE vaccancy is announced, RRB JE entrance exam application form is released online. You need to fill that online application form for RRB JE exam and upload the required documents and then pay the application fees.

The RRB JE 2024 application process started on July 30 and the deadline to register for the RRB JE 2024 was August 29, 2024 till 23.59 PM. The last date for RRB JE 2024 application and fee submission was same that as August 29, 2024. The RRBs provided the facility for the RRB JE 2024 application modification from August 30 to September 8, 2024. Candidates are advised to check the RRB official website regularly for latest updates on RRB JE exam.

RRB JE exam is conducted by RRB to recruit the Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology) Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) in various Departments of Railways. Yes, the Railway Recruitment Board activated the centralised RRB JE online application link at its centralised application website - https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/#/auth/landing. The candidates could apply online for the RRB JE 2024-25 exam untill August 29, 2024. The RRB also provided the RRB JE application correction facility from August 30 to September 8, 2024.
The RRB JE CBT 2 exam was conducted on April 22, 2025. The RRB JE CBT 1 exam was held on December 16, 17 and 18, 2024.

RRB JEs make a base pay of INR 35,400. For this position, the salary range is INR 35,400–1,12,400, with INR 4200 as the grade pay. For 12th pass positions, the base RRB NTPC wage is INR 19,900 to 21,700 (varies depending on jobs). For graduate positions, the base RRB NTPC wage is INR 25,500–35,400 (varies based on posts).
