SASTRA (Deemed to be University) Placement

The placement rate for BTech and BA LLB/ BCom LLB/ BBA LLB courses has improved over the past three years (2021 to 2023). On the other contrary, the percentage of MTech students placed has declined year-on-year. The following table depicts the SASTRA placement rate trends for Law and Engineering courses:

The University has released the NIRF report 2023 which incorporates the course-wise placement data. During 2022 placements, of all the courses, BTech recorded the highest median package of INR 7.50 LPA. Further, the placement rate for BTech and M.Tech courses stood at 88% and 60%.
