The SASTRA University average package has not been disclosed officially. Looking at the median package, an improving trend was observed in the BTech and BA LLB/ BCom LLB/ BBA LLB courses. Further, the median package for MTech improved from 2021 to 2022 and was stagnant in 2022 and 2023. For a detailed analysis refer to the below table:

The placement rate for BTech and BA LLB/ BCom LLB/ BBA LLB courses has improved over the past three years (2021 to 2023). On the other contrary, the percentage of MTech students placed has declined year-on-year. The following table depicts the SASTRA placement rate trends for Law and Engineering courses:

The University has released the NIRF report 2023 which incorporates the course-wise placement data. During 2022 placements, of all the courses, BTech recorded the highest median package of INR 7.50 LPA. Further, the placement rate for BTech and M.Tech courses stood at 88% and 60%. The SASTRA University average package CSE or the other placement data for the CSE branch are yet to be disclosed. However, the University has released the overall placement data for BTech and MTech. Out of 1,806 BTech graduates 1,617 were placed during the 2023 drive. In MTech, 79 out of 124 students were placed.
