Well you can get a seat in SASTRA but if you are looking for a seat in the most sort after branches, it is not possible like CS or IT. there are some courses like biotechnology in which seats remain empty but you should not go for any degree just if you are not getting better programme.

Sastra University, located in Tamil Nadu, conducts its own admission process for engineering programs. They consider JEE Main scores as part of their admission criteria. You have a chance of getting a CSE seat in SASTRA University with 93% in IPE and 94 percentile in JEE mains. However, admission to Ayush Courses is based on NEET Scorecard, and only NEET-qualified candidates can apply or participate in BAMS BHMS, BUMS and BSMS Counselling 2023. The counselling of AYUSH UG courses is conducted for admission to the 15% seats of government and government-aided institutes. I suggest you contact the college directly for more information about their admission process and eligibility criteria.

To get CSE at SASTRA Deemed to be University in Thanjavur, your rank in stream 1 or 2 must be less than 500. The cut-off rank varies from year to year, however you should have a rank of less than 500 to be sure of getting CSE at SASTRA Deemed to be University. Unfortunately, with a state rank of 690 in Stream 1 and 112 in Stream 2, it appears that you will be unable to enrol at SASTRA Deemed to be University for CSE or IT because places fill up below 1000 rankings for these courses. I hope this was helpful.
