Their is no special cut off for any course at sastra, it depends on the availability of seats
However in 2021 and 2022 for CSE your SASTRA UNIVERSITY rank should be less than 700 and 502 respectively (approximately)

There is no cutoff in sastra. It solely depends on your rank in sastra's merit list which will be uploaded after a while. For cse the rank must be not more than 500. Only then, you will have a chance. All this is for stream 1. Coming to stream 2 your board percentage should be more than 98.6%.

For getting CSE at SASTRA one has to score above 95% in 12th and above 93 percentile in JEE Main. However you can get other engineering branches there. Since You Haven mentioned your category I am assuming that you are a general. In general category one have to score 50 percentile l for qualifying the JEE Main. Examination. You can apply for any stream. To get CSE in Sastra University your rank must be under 500 in stream 1 or 2. Though the cut-off rank varies every year, still you should have a rank under 500 to definitely get CSE in Sastra University. According to your percentile, your rank in JEE Main. Is going to be above 1,00,000.

Definitely, you will get into 2nd campus and it depends on the lower rank candidates, if they chose main campus you're not able to get that otherwise you can and it is the best college for CSE AI am you can always get good placements. All the best.

According to last year's stat the closing rank will be 1800 in stream 1 and 600 in stream 2
So there is chance to get a seat
Do not worry you can get a seat in nri quota but the fees will be around 5 to 6 Lacs.

As far as B.Tech is concerned, education standards depends mostly on the student who's pursuing. So, either main campus or Kumbakonam SASTRA, there won't be much difference in education. Faculty are equally good in both the campuses. But the only thing is that, Kumbakonam campus doesn't have hostel facility. When coming to placements, all the students have to attend the drives only in main campus. So they'll be given equal preference depending upon the CGPA and other eligibility criteria. There's no difference in placements for both main and kumbakonam campus of SASTRA.
