Hi Ish,
You can take the exams after 12th, it is accepted but one thing you should keep in mind are the university intakes and admissions. See that you don't miss any deadlines. Take the exams immediately after boards so by the end of the year you can submit the applications.

Hello Jayashri,
There is nothing like SAT in India. Admissions are based on marks obtained in 12th. Of course, for admission into professional courses, there are state level or Pan India entrance tests. So, depending on your interest and desire, you can take admission directly or via an entrance test.

As I was stuck in my studies for SAT and came across an institute name Trinity Global Education Thought for contacting them. In the first call itself the counselor made me comfortable by explaining me the entire process for applying for SAT and booked my schedule for a DEMO lecture.
