A number of top Institutes offer a range of scholarships to outstanding students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who demonstrate distinction and need. Other than the Scholarship Means-Cum-Merit Financial Assistance Scheme, there may be other scholarships for students that are sponsored by industry, alumni, etc. which may differ from center to center.

APJ Abdul Kalam University offer need based scholarships to all students including BA students. However, the university provides scholarships as per the state government of M.P. for SC/ST/OBC students who have completed any course from AKU or affiliated colleges. The aim of this scholarship scheme is to provide financial aid and support to the students. Additionally, the university does not offer any course-specific scholarship scheme.
