HITS offers various scholarships to students belonging to the SC/ ST/ EWS category. Meritorious students are also given the privilege of scholarships. Some of the Hindustan University scholarships are as follows:
- SC/ ST Scholarship Government of India: Candidates, who belong to Tamil Nadu and have completed Class 12, are eligible for this scholarship. The annual income of the parents should not exceed INR 1 LPA. The candidates should not be in receipt of another scholarship/assistance from other sources. The scholarship can be renewed every year.

Currently, Shri Sant Gadge Baba College of Engineering and Technology only offer scholarships that may not be up to a 100% for all students. But, the scholarships are offered under government driven schemes especially for the students under reserved categories or from economically not so sound backgrounds. Though most scholarships provide full tuition fee reductions, some may offer partial, or a combination of both. There may also be scholarship for merit but full scholarships that cover every student are hardly given.
