High Achievers Alternate Tuition Rate scholarship at Southern Illinois University offers an alternate tuition rate to high achieving undergraduate international students. This scholarship is based on merit and awarded upon satisfying the following conditions; 

• Incoming freshmen earning a composite 26 or higher on the ACT or an SAT composite score of ONLY the Critical Reading and the Mathematics composite equaling 1240 or higher is acceptable. 
• Transfer students with at least a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale from the previous college level institution attended. Transfer students are defined as a student having 12 or more credit hours from another college.
• This award allows undergraduate out-of state residents and international students to receive in-state tuition. 

VIT scholarships are available to only those students who have secured a rank under 1,000 in the VITEEE examination. Students who possess a valid aptitude score or percentile are eligible to get the fee waiver mentioned below.

• CAT/XAT/GMAT Score of 95 percentile and above are eligible for full tuition fee waiver.
• CAT/XAT/GMAT Score of 90 percentile and above are eligible for 50% tuition fee waiver.
• MAT score of 791 to 800 are eligible for full tuition fee waiver.
• MAT score of 760 to 790 are eligible for 50% tuition fee waiver.
• NMAT score of 346 to 360 are eligible for full tuition fee waiver.
• NMAT score of 325 to 345 are eligible for 50% tuition fee waiver.

Indian students are among the international students who can apply for a variety of scholarships from Charles Sturt University Study-Melbourne Campus.A GRE score of at least 300 is preferred, with a score of 160 in both the verbal and quantitative reasoning parts being necessary for consideration. The requirements for each of these scholarships differ in terms of eligibility and minimum scores. Academic distinction, athletic success, or creative potential are the criteria used to grant the scholarships. Requirement for continued enrollment is upholding a 3.0 GPA per quarter. Canadian high school students, Native American students, adult learners, and foreign students participating in full-time programs are eligible for the scholarships. The scholarships offer substantial financial assistance to help realize a career goal. Although they are dependent on the student's overall performance and potential, the scholarships do not specify the precise academic scores needed to be awarded.
