Students must get good to get into any scholarship at Kathmandu University. While some scholarships are given based only on merit, others are given by financial need. For eg, Department of Life Sciences Scholarship Scheme waives all tuition costs in full for students who meet program's GPA requirements. Education Future International grant is half financing grant that is open to students in USA and other countries. Yes, SNU Chennai offers stipends and assistantships to full-time PhD students. Whereas, part-time scholars are exempted from this facility. Students admitted to PhD course at SNU Chennai will receive a stipend of INR 20,000 per month, with free shared accommodation in the campus.
