IIT Patna gives MCM scholarships to meritorious and needy students. A UG student or a 2-year MSc programme student can receive the MCM scholarship. For new entrants (BTech/MSc 1st year), their SPI will be the criterion for their merit. The minimum SPI is 6.50 and there is no "F" grade in any of the courses in the first semester. For students in their 2nd year (BTech/MSc) onwards, the minimum CPI is 6.50 and there is no "F" grade. For all category students, the annual income of a student's parents or guardians and his family from all sources in the preceding financial year must not exceed INR 4.50 lakh.

Yes, in the year 2022, a total of 276 fee waivers have been awarded to the students. The details are as follows:

  • Merit Scholarships: The toppers of the class across both semesters (without carryover/ clear pass on first attempt) are awarded for the upcoming year. INR 12,000 is offered to te first-position student and INR 6,000 is offered to the one in the second position. 
  • Scheme to encourage students to excel in university exams: Students of BTech and BPharm from first till third year with 85% aggregate are awarded INR 500 and for each per cent aggregate above 85% are given INR 200/- extra in addition to INR 500. Similarly, student

Being a private university, Garden City University Bangalore fee can be a little high. If the students find the fee a little high, they can apply for the various scholarships offered by the university. Some of the scholarships provided by the university are Sports Scholarships, Talent Scholarships, Cultural Scholarships, Alumni Referral Scholarships at the Entry-Level, and others. Garden City University has a tie-up with SchoolFe and Finance-Peer as well which offers interest-free student loans.

VU offers meritorious scholarships for all students who have successfully completed the application for a scholarship and satisfy the eligibility criteria in order to qualify for the award. There are various Central/State Government scholarship schemes offered by the Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur.
