School of Architecture, CMR University Courses

There is no course that can be said to be the ‘best’ as such a course mainly depends on the inclination of the learner as well as their career path that they wish to follow. However, the School of Architecture, CMR University, is renowned for its:

1. B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture)- a five year programme, where emphasis is laid on design, sustainable design and technology.
2. M.Arch (Master of Architecture) – a 2-year full time programme with available areas of specialisation were Sustainable Architecture, Urban design and Landscape architecture.

Both the programmes are popular in the industry and academic circles, focused on skill development, research and innovation. This puts the programs offered at the university into value and the faculty members there, the infrastructure and the geographical location in Bangalore.

CMR University provides scholarships to students in the form of financial aid. The institution provides five categories of scholarships to students. However, as far as I know, only three of the five scholarships are open to architecture students. They are:

1. CMR Memorial Scholarships: CMR University exclusively offers Memorial Scholarships to qualifying students.
2. CMR University General Scholarships: CMR University offers nine different categories of scholarships. These are CMR Students Scholarships, Social Service, Andaman and Nicobar, J&K, Physically Challenged, 7 Sisters, Single Parent, Defence Scholarships, Bravery Award, and For Siblings.
3. CMR University Sport Scholarships: This scholarship covers Sports and Cricket Scholarships.
