Aspirants must pass Class 12 examination with at least 50% aggregate overall and 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board to apply for BArch course at School of Architecture, CMR University. Besides, candidates who have passed a three-year Diploma after Class 10 with Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC students) can also apply for the BArch course.

School of Architecture, CMR University eligibility specifies the minimum aggregate and qualification to apply for a UG and a PhD course. The basic eligibility to apply for UG courses is Class 12. Below is the course-wise eligibility criteria:

The eligibility criteria for B.Arch at School of Architecture, CMR University, are:
- 10+2 or its equivalent examination from the respective boards with not less than 50% in the subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Pass or qualification in National Aptitude Test in Architecture NATA for admission into B.Arch programme. or Architecture: 10+3 Diploma in Architecture or equivalent with not less than 50 % marks.
Valid NATA score or IBDP tener with minimum 50 % marks in mathematics, physics ,chemistry

The eligibility criteria for the admission procedure are as follows:
- Students must have to attain Bachelors degree or Masters degree in architectural field or architecture related field
- Candidates must have the minimum percentage of 55% in total aggregate
- Students have to appear for the entrance exam for example NET
