Both the open universities are quite popular. There is a notable difference in the tuition fee for BA courses at both the universities. The tuition fee at BRAOU for BA is INR 7,700. While the tuition fee for BA at DU SOL ranges between INR 1,500 - INR 6,000. The degree from the both the universities is recognised. 

However, DU SOL is quite popular among students as it is linked to Delhi University. Hence, students can make a decision by considering the location.

SOL DU offers UG & PG courses in various streams of Arts, Commerce, and Management. The university offers direct admission to candidates based on their merit of last qualifying exams of previous education. Candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria and submit their scorecards at the time of filling the admission form. DU SOL admission to M.A. in History is based on DUET scores followed by the release of list of merit lists. As per the cutoff 2022, DU SOL concluded the release of merit list after Round 4 Seat allotment. Tabulated below is the round-wise DU SOL cutoff 2022 for the MA History course for the General category candidates belonging to All India Quota:

The latest cutoff information for M.A. in Political Science at Delhi University (DU) for the 2023-2024 academic year is not yet available. The university is expected to release the cutoff list in the coming weeks, after the completion of the admission process for the first list.

However, based on the previous year's cutoff list, the expected cutoff for M.A. in Political Science at DU for the 2023-2024 academic year is as follows:

During the third semester of SOL MBA course, apart from three compulsory papers, candidate has to choose five elective courses. In the fourth semester, five elective courses have to be chosen. The elective courses are further mentioned below for candidates reference:

The last date to apply for SOL DU MBA course was Aug 15. As per some sources online, the application end date was extended till Sep 11. Candidates had to apply before the deadline to take admission in this PG course. Moreover, as per the past year admission schedule, SOL MBA 2024 registrations can be expected to commence in the month of July 2024.
