To be eligible for MA in Political Science at University of Delhi, a candidate must have passed Bachelor's Degree from any recognised University, or candidate must have passed B.A. (Hons.) Candidates seeking admission to the SOL DU MA course,  must have graduated with a minimum of 60% to 65% aggregate or equivalent with the relevant subject from the University of Delhi or any other recognised institute/university.

The duration of the BA programme is three-years. Candidates have to pass all the semester examinations within the course duration to get awarded with the degree. It is a distance/ correspondence course. Hence, candidates have to register each time to appear for the examinations.

For DU SOL BCom admission, candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. The students must also hold academic certificates at the time of admission.

Yes, DU SOL offers a BCom programme for a minimum of three and a maximum of five years duration. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from a recognised board are eligible to apply for the SOL BCom course. This course is offered in distance/correspondence mode. 

DUSOL follows the scholarship schemes offered by the University of Delhi. The university offers scholarships as financial aid to deserving students. Several scholarships such as All India Post Graduate Scholarships (AIPGS), University Post Graduate Scholarships (UPGS), National Scholarship (Economics) and DSE Merit (Economics) can be availed by the students of SOLDU.

Students participate in various internship programmes during winter and summer vacations to gain hands-on experience in their respective fields of study.

Both DU SOL and IGNOU are popular among students for distance programmes. Candidates can consider factors like course fee, ranking, degree acceptance, and more, while making a choice. The minimum eligibility criteria for MA at both the open learning universities/platforms is a valid bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised board.

Admissions to DU SOL for the year 2023 are now closed. The first wave of admission for 2024 is probably going to start in June. The university will open its application window in the same month for all of its UG and PG courses, in accordance with the admission calendar from the previous year. The application forms can be completed online via DU SOL's official website. Candidates may submit an application for the course of their choosing as soon as the institution opens the admissions site.

Admissions in DU SOL MA is divided into two halves, 50 percent of seats are reserved for merit based admission (only for DU students ) and the other 50 percent seats are alloted through entrance test basis.
