This is the first I have ever heard of geo tourism. Sounds like an interesting concept. I would think that a Bachelor in geology would be good preparation for a job in that area. You would need to be able to clearly understand the geology, so you would need a good set of background courses (sedimentology, stratigraphy, mineralogy, structural and historical geology). And you would have to understand it well enough to be able to explain it to non-geologists and answer questions. It does sound like a fun and rewarding way to make a living.

Hi Riya, let me brief you, as simple as truth, the more you get experienced the more chances will be unlocked for higher packages and the more you progress the more you get, so take at least 2 years experience and then go ahead for M.Sc.

Hi dear, They are amazing enough. Though I have not attended any of them yet I hear that it is quite rewarding. You get placement at premier institutions or even at the periperies most of the time. Salary is upto date. Competition is good though.
