The course provides the minimum qualification to become a registered pharmacist in India. There is no specialization in D.Pharm., and the course only provides the basic concepts of pharmaceutical science.
To be eligible for admission, a student must have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (Zoology and Botany) from a recognized board or institute.
The total duration of the course is two years, each year comprising two semesters.

a) Candidate must have passed higher secondary/senior secondary or equivalent examination in the current year with at least 50% marks in aggregate (Relaxation of 5% for ST/SC Candidates)
b) Candidates must have passed in the following subjects:
i) Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
OR
ii) Physics, Chemistry & Biology
Admission criteria : Through CEE (Common Entrance Examination), candidates will get opportunity to get admission in B.Sc. B.Ed. in any of RIE Ajmer, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Mysore based on state of eligibility.
