Fergusson College was established by the Deccan Education Society in 1885 in Pune. The college received the status of the College of Excellence in 2017 and Special Heritage Status in 2014 by UGC. It is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).
Fergusson College offers a three-year bachelor's degree in various specializations of Arts and Science.
For admission to these courses, candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Examinations. For B.Sc courses, the qualifying examination must be passed in the Science stream.

The college issues three merit lists for admissions.

MIT-WPU and Fergusson, Pune are well-reputed institutes for pursuing a degree in FYBA. Both are top-notch institutes in Pune, Maharashtra. According to me, Both the colleges are good enough when it comes to quality education and placements. But, if you ask me I would prefer Fergusson to MIT-WPU. Because Most importantly, If you join any of these two college first thing that matter is the Return of Investment (ROI) of the college you will automatically get to know that it is worth spending your money and time in Fergusson Pune Fees structure is quite decent and affordable. On the other hand, MIT is quite expensive because it is a Deemed University! No doubt It provides the best exposure.

Dear aspirant, B.Sc. VIT is decent but not that good because the institute is known for its engineering major. You get admission in B.Sc. By scoring well in your board examination. I would say try to do engineering but if you're not getting that then B.Sc. Is pretty decent. If you're selecting B.Sc. In VIT then go only to the main campus and don't even SEE other campuses. You'll have to score a minimum of 60%+ in your board examination and then you have to compete with other people if you are getting less than 85% I don't think you'll get admission to B.Sc. Computer Science. You can call and ask about other details. I would say once again go for B.Tech if you get don't get it then B.Sc. Is fine. Hope it helps.

Hello Himanshu Kumar, I do not understand why you have not applied for CET for Karnataka. These days admissions to engineering courses are given only on the performance of the students in entrance examinations. At the national level, there is JEE Mains while almost all states except Tamilnadu conduct entrance examinations. Okay, still all is not lost. You can think of getting admission under the management quota of deemed to be universities or private Engineering colleges. For this, you will need to contact them individually since all information about this is confidential and nothing is available in the public domain. Best wishes to you.

Hello Shubhangi Jadhav, it's very nice to hear from you that you are seriously taking up the issue of preparing for JEE Mains examination. There are plenty of places in India that are famous for conducting these classes in a very professional manner. The two places that come to mind are Kotak and Hyderabad. However, almost every city and even small place across India are having plenty of classes run by professionals for preparing students for this examination. Some of these are on an Indian basis while some are centered around a well-known teacher. In almost every place the fees mess charges living expenses all very extensively and no single formula can be given as to how much money one needs to pay.
