It depend a lot on your interest as both the streams are relevant and demanding. Both institutions has brand tag of IIT. Scope wise both are equally good. Each branch has some advantage and disadvantage. For e. g chemical engineering may skip your chances of appearing in IES. I will suggest you to take decisions based on interest and future goal. Best wishes.

Hello Soumya, there is no hard and fast estimate for time taken to study particular section of syllabus. It fully depends on the ability of the students to understand and their graspon the subject matter. So don't worry much. Take your time. Of course you should have plans and schedule for studies of all parts of syllabus with time assigned for exceptions. Best wishes to you.

It vary from university to university. Many universities permit students with 10+2 from arts or commerce in addition to students from PCM. I would suggest to explore the options of under graduation in agriculture stream as it is a good career option. You can appear for ICAR or similar entrance exam. In future you can pursue MBA (agribusiness) or similar courses. Best wishes.
