The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. Minimum education:
10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognised board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board. Student shall be medically fit. Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks. Student shall be admitted once in a year. Otherwise you can easily get admission in a good nursing colleges through Shiksha. Com.

The fee for the courses depends on the colleges. The renowned colleges shall have higher fees than other colleges. The fee for B.Sc. In Microbiology ranges from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 2,00,000. The admissions are mainly based on merits. Some of the top colleges for B.Sc. In Microbiology are St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, RamaKrishna Mission Vidyamandir, Gargi College. The average fee for these colleges is Rs. 40,000. It mainly depends on the college and the course what you want to opt for. Also there are various scholarships for those students who cannot afford the cost of their studies.

Hello Sweet Mishra, the Shakespearen dillema! My opinion is that both these courses are equally good. Data Science has perhaps little edge over Statistics. My strong advise would be to select the subject thst you like the best and enjoy studying. Best wishes to you.
