Good faculty and average placements.
Placements: From the 6th semester onwards students are eligible for internships. Some of the companies like Jio, TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit every year. Many students apply for off-campus positions for specific roles at Amazon and Google. Jio had offered around 26 posts. Infosys had recruited around 6 students, TCS had recruited around 148 students, and many more students got placed in middle-tier companies like Planet Park. I plan to get a good placement or job in a good MNC. Around 70 percent of the students got placed here.
Infrastructure: Facilities are quite good and the infrastructure is also good. The quality of food in the canteen is also nice, the labs are big, and the library experience is not so good in my case because of a fine. The sports and games also happen and the CSE department is also nice. The food quality in our canteen is good. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and cameras for enhanced teaching methods.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is around 60:1. The teachers are so supportive that they teach us with all their expertise and inform and guide us with all the opportunities all around. They have a friendly behaviour with us. Om Singh Parihar and Abhishek Pandey are some of the faculty members. More than 4 exams are there including 2 assignment exams and two mid-term exams which end with 1 end semester exam which is a final semester exam. Many students fail in some subjects like engineering, graphics, and mathematics 2 but they pass after giving back exams.
Other: I have chosen the CSE course because I am interested in this field. There are events, fests, and seminars organised by the college to encourage students. Scholarships are provided to students who are less able to afford the fees of the college. All overall average college for B.Tech CSE. You can take admission if you belong to Jabalpur otherwise you can go to other colleges that belong to Bhopal.

My honest opinion about my college.
Placements: There are various job opportunities at Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences, so do not worry about placements. Many companies visit our campus, such as TCS, Wipro, Persistent, Hexaware, Infosys, and many more.
Infrastructure: There are no hostels, but there are various hostels situated in the college area. Here, students can stay. Various types of hostel rooms are available at our college. It includes single, double, and triple sharing rooms. Students can choose whichever they want.
Faculty: Exam structure is simple. Every semester, after four months, we give exams conducted by RGPV University. Faculty is hardworking, friendly, and capable of teaching us as much as possible. Various departments in the college, such as Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Faculty members are intelligent and experienced.
Other: This is a good course. My branch is Computer Science, and I am interested in the subjects included in this branch.

Good infrastructure with the best faculty staff.
Placements: About 70% of students get placed. I am in the CS department. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA, the highest package is 7–8 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. Cisco, TCS, and Infosys are the top recruiting companies. The internship rate is below 10%. Top roles offered are Software Developer by TCS and networking roles by Cisco. Some non-tech companies and startup companies also come to our college.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good, with a good library, labs, and canteen. All kinds of courses are available in our college. There are proper air-conditioned classrooms. Many PG hostels and flats are available near the college for students, with proper and tasty food. The college canteen workers also provide tiffin services for hostel students.
Faculty: The teaching staff is very helpful and kind. All are highly qualified. They have deep knowledge of their subjects, and stay updated with new technologies. My course is basically Computer Science and Business Systems, designed by TCS. It makes us well-versed in technical as well as management skills. Semester exams are a little tough.
Other: I chose this course because it not only helps us with technical skills but also with management and moral values. It make us industry-ready and help develop leadership skills.

Great experience with good friends, teachers, placements, library, Wi-Fi, and supportive faculty.
Placements: In my course, there were 40 students, and 36 got placements. The highest package was 20 LPA. The lowest was 8 LPA. Companies like TCS, Aakash, Momentum, and others recruited students. Most of the roles offered were HR and Tutor positions. Our placement officer also had a great attitude and a helpful nature.
Infrastructure: We had labs, Wi-Fi, and good classrooms. The library was also good. We used to spend a lot of time there during lectures and free periods. Labs were well-equipped. The lecturers had good practical knowledge. Overall, it was a great experience.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful to all students and did not show favoritism. Exams used to be easy or difficult depending on the subject. During examinations, answer sheets were always provided on time. The examiners never showed partiality. All students were treated equally.
Other: We used to organize all the events on campus. As I was a campus ambassador, every event was conducted successfully.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the college management.
Placements: The placement cell is doing its best to bring good companies. There is a significant improvement in the companies that come to our college. This year, Deloitte came to our college, and one of our students was selected. However, even though 2–3 big companies come, most of the hiring companies do not provide enough salary based on their demand for relocation to a different city. So, it is beneficial if even a few companies come with good packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college makes it difficult to manage. There are water coolers with no water supply, and washrooms are available only on a single floor of the building, which makes it very inconvenient. The course structure is good, but the college infrastructure should be better, considering the fees they charge and the examination fees they collect. Still, they do not provide adequate facilities during examination time.
Faculty: Faculty of my Mathematics Department is good, but they need to bring in more staff. There are only four teachers for Mathematics in the whole college, and they are quite senior. Students need new teachers who can provide information about different aspects of life. They guide them through the modern era of competitive exams and research. The examination system is not very good. They do not provide nice facilities.
Other: The college campus is not very big. It feels more like a school campus. There is a lift facility in one of the buildings, but students are not allowed to use it, which is not good. The management is very poor and does not provide notifications in advance. Everything is done in a hurry. They conduct activities like re-CCE and collect CVV for semester exams right before examinations, which makes it difficult for students to focus on their studies. I am doing an M.Sc. from this college because of the mathematics Faculty. They are very good teachers with valuable knowledge.

I am doing mechanical engineering.
Placements: Around 70-75 percent are required for admission in GGITS Jabalpur. Top recruiting companies for the CS course, Computer Science. Around 7 to 9% of students get internships from computer science courses, such as TCS and many more companies. The average package offered is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: College facilities are good. The classroom is good, with Wi-Fi, AC, fan, and all facilities are available, so there is no problem with toilets, and they provide clean water. GGITS organised the sports day every year and invited many college students, so it was a very exciting games and sports day.
Faculty: 50% teachers are of the old age, but their knowledge is so good because they retired from NIT and IIT. Semester exams of GGIT are average, not tough. They are conducted by RGPV Bhopal. The second semester is too hard because the Ed is too difficult. The passing percent is 7, which is good but six is average.
Other: Mechanical engineering is my favourite, so I chose this. not any other reason. The mechanical labs are poor in infrastructure, so they require improvement. GGITS organises Gyanotsav, Garva, and many Indian festivals. Scholarships help students to study.

The overall seats available across all courses offered by University Institute of Computer Science and Applications is up to 40. Good thing to know is that University Institute of Computer Science and Applications has courses which are approved by prominent Government bodies like AICTE.
