Yes, you can be eligible for ICAR AIEEA UG 2020, if meeting the below eligibility criteria for B.Sc. (Hons. ). Agriculture and Horticulture etc. Eligibility criteria :
1. Candidate must have passed 12th qualifying examinations securing not less than 50% marks in aggregate for General, OBC (NCL), UPS, EWS categories and 40% marks in aggregate for SC, ST, Transgender, PwD categories in following subject PCB/PCM/PCA/ABC.
2. Candidate having a compartment/ supplementary in any of the subjects will not be eligible unless proof of having cleared the examination with requisite percentage as above is available.

If you are sure of preparing only for the civil services exam, then you can join an arts college. UPSC doesn't prescribe any specific graduation, so studying arts will give you an ample amount of time for preparation from your college days itself. You can also choose a degree based on the optional subjects.
