AUCET is a state level entrance exam, which is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam which allows candidates to enroll for admission in postgraduate courses which are offered under the streams of Science, Commerce, Humanities, Management, Teaching and Journalism and Mass communication. Aspirants are offered admission to Andhra University and its affiliated colleges as well as Dr BR Ambedkar University, Srikakulam on the basis of their scores in AUCET entrance exam. Andhra University Common Entrance Test AUCET is conducted to offer admission to courses such as M.Sc. M.A. M.Com MHRM, M.J. M. C. MLISc, M.P.Ed M.Ed M.Tech into various Andhra Universities.
