Hello,
The most notable difference from agriculture is that horticulture deals with small scale gardening and usually in enclosed gardens although this is not a necessity while agriculture is done on large scale with extensive crop cultivation. Agriculture is the science of growing food crops and rearing animals for farming.

DU has always taken the best 5 subjects for calculating cutoffs. You can get admission into a south campus college, in 2nd / 3rd round if seats are left because most of the seats are already full in the 1st round. Good luck.

Yes, this is not a professional course, so you cannot expect any life without a job or your own lab. You can apply into path labs, Monsanto, sun pharma and other pharmaceutical companies, the government. Also conducts its exams for employment into forensic, research departments. P. S. you can apply for Ph.D in India or foreign where you would be first be earning as a student then you can be employed by same university conducting research and development in their labs.
