This is a great career opportunity. Biotechnology industry will rise in the coming future in India, and so you would enjoy extreme speed and growth in career. Right now the scope is better in foreign countries and you should try there for best career growth and performance and earnings. In India, the packages wouldn't be that high. 2nd point, it is generally known that any graduate from any stream from IITK would be earning INR. 10-20 lacS pa, but for exact information go to its website in the placement cell option and see its placements.
