Hey Shruti, yes this is a new branch and there are no official details about the number of seats. I would suggest you keep a check on your emails where VIT would send you detailed information regarding the number of seats and categories.

No, you have to clear the Compartment Exam. After that, you can apply for under-graduate course.

Chances are very less. As the course is very much competitive and mostly cutoff ranges in higher percentage scale.

No, you have to clear the compartment in all the subjects you have failed. After that, you will be considered as 12th pass. After clearing the exam you will be eligible for admission in undergraduate courses.

There is no such provision for compartment admission in a college. You are not eligible.

Without clearing your 12th exam with PCM, you are not eligible for B.Tech. After clearing your chemistry exam, you will be eligible for it.
