At present, the admission to the Physics programme in TIFR is for Ph.D. degree only. TIFR do not admit students for M.Sc. Or M.Phil separately (please see the SBP-Guidelines). Eligibility :- An M.Sc. In Physics the basic requirement for admission to the Ph.D. degree programme, but B.Sc. Graduates with consistently very good academic record are encouraged to apply. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks aggregate in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology and other Life Sciences subjects.
