Apply for admission in the college when it publishes the notification on its official website. Then simply your class 12th PCM average and maths marks is taken in account. Better the score than the eligibility marks, higher the chance of admission.

You need a strong reference along with application with equally well interviews in some cases and must have a good explanation for your pause. The better you show social responsibility works link in NGOs and such, higher the chances you have in comparison to others, if your social welfare jobs were really impressive in terms of impact.

Both are having it's own benefits. Hospitality with B.Sc is bit multi-disciplinary too, so that looks more attractive. Still, it is best for you to compare the subjects covered in the courses before you proceed.
