Hello Bhrugu, you appear to have a very reasonable score in GRE as well as a good score in CGPA. This tells me that you will definitely get admission in MS for Computer Sciences in US, but in US there are hundreds of colleges and different universities spread across the country, which have different standards and which have different sets of eligibilities. In many cases students can get admission, if they have failed in one main subject, but they have to clear it in the following year. You should clear your doubt by contacting the particular college that you want to join.

To be eligible for admission into BCA a candidate needs to score at least 45% in their +2. The eligibility criteria differs for every other college, so you need to find that particular university or college which will provide you admission into BCA as some colleges don't provide admission to non-mathematics students. The questions of IPMAT are not harder than JEE. Those questions test you basic reasoning and aptitude skills. So, for someone who hasn't practiced those types of questions may seem hard.
