I wouldn't suggest you B.Com because biotechnology requires a lot of time and hard work, and it is not easy to cope up with both the courses.

You can take IPMAT exam after class 12th for IIM-Indore or complete the graduation from any university and start preparing for CAT exam from day one of graduation with full concentration.

There are plenty of professional courses available for commerce students to choose from. For commerce students, one of the easiest things to do is go for B.Com then M.Com and then maybe Ph.D or professor. There's also an option to go for CA CS CMA and at times LLB.
