No, after the SET exam is cleared, candidates had to go through for further selection procedure conducted by the participating institutes. The SET scores are accepted by the ten prestigious institutes of the Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Candidates need to meet the cutoff criteria of the participating institutes to take admissions. After the declaration of SET result, each participating institute will release a cutoff list to shortlist the candidates. The participating institutes will then call the candidates for the admission process which includes further rounds. If candidates want to apply at colleges other than those selected during the SET application process, then they will have to fill out the application form for those other colleges individually. The SET result will be declared online after the exam is conducted. The SET result cum scorecard is an important document for the SET admission process. The following details are mentioned on every candidate's SET scorecard 2024:

SET has a total of 60 questions. The General English Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness sections carry 16 questions and the Analytical and Logical Reasoning section carries 12 questions. For each correct attempt, one mark is awarded and one mark is deducted for an incorrect attempt. There is no deduction of marks for unanswered questions. Therefore, the total marks of SET is 60.
