SET application form 2026 will be available on the official website - set-test.org The SET application form will be released in the second week of December 2025. Candidates can fill the SET form and pay the application fee online by creating a log ID. The application process for SET exam 2026 will likely continue for approximately three months. The SET exam date and registration schedule was also announced online. Given below is the brief description of how to fill the SET application form:

Step 1. Go to set-test.org website

Step 2. Click on 'New Registration for SET' 

Step3. Enter name, date of birth, nationality, country, phone number and email ID 

Step 4. Click on submit

Step 5. The ID and password will be shared in email

Step 6. Use the SET user ID and password to login and fill the application form

Step 7. In the application form, fill personal details, academic details, test city preference, courses, etc. and pay the application fee

Step 8. Upload recent passport size photo and signature

Step 9. Pay the insitute fee to complete the form submission process.

Every candidate must carry a blue/black ball point pen and a two copies of their passport size photo to the exam centre. They must not carry any stationary item other than the pen. Ever since the COVID-19 outbreak, SET candidates are required to carry drinking water, hand sanitizer, face mask and gloves along with them. Candidates have to carry drinking water in a transparent bottle. No other item will be allowed inside the exam venue. Candidates must not carry bags or valuables as there will be no arrangement for depositing while candidates appear for the exam. Candidates must also not carry notebooks or rough paper to the SET exam centre. Any candidate found with an unauthorised item will be disqualified.

On the SET exam day, candidates have to follow certain guidelines which include reaching on time, cooperating with the exam centre staff, following instructions of the test invigilator and following the test navigation for solving the SET questions. There are some key dos and don'ts that candidates should follow on the SET exam day, which have been listed below:

SET exam day dos:

1. Reach the examination centre at the reporting time mentioned on your SET admit card
2. Carry two copies of the SET admit card, one photo ID card and passport size photos
3. PwD candidates should carry the relevant certificates and documents as prescribed by the examination authorities. 
4. Carry a blue/black ball point pen for signing the attendance sheet
5. Carry personal drinking water, hand sanitizer, face masks and gloves
6. Cooperate with the test centre staff and follow instructions during entry
7. Candidates must write their name and roll numbers on the rough sheet provided by the invigilator and sign on it

Candidates will know their allotted SET exam centre only from the admit card. There is no way to know the test centre before the release of the SET admit card. The examination authority allots a test centre to aspirants in the city of their first preference as mentioned in the city. So, candidates can atleast be assured that they will get a test centre in the city they had chosen as first preference in the SET application form. However, the venue will be mentioned only on the candidate’s admit card. So as soon as the SET admit card is released, candidates must check the test city and test centre details. In order to avoid any confusion, they must visit the centre at least once before the exam day.

The SET admit card will be available online on the official website. Students who have successfully submitted the SET application form before the deadline can download their SET admit cards. But, if the candidate has not paid the SET application fee, then they will not be eligible to download the SET admit card. Hence, the candidate must have completed the entire SET application process in order to download the SET admit card. 

The candidates must note, that the SET admit card will have correct details only if they have filled the application form with correct and true information. If there is a discrepancy in the admit card, students should immediately contact the examination authorities. 

The admit card of SET will mention the following details:

• Candidate’s name
• Admission Category
• SET ID
• Exam Date and Venue
• Venue Address
• Seat Number
• Candidate's date of birth
• Exam Day Instructions

The test takers are advised to take two printouts of the SET admit card and preserve at least one copy of the same till the end of the admission process. Institutes may seek a copy of admit card at the time of admission. The test takers must also carry a valid photo ID proof to the exam hall. The SET admit card is one of the most important documents which is to be carried to the exam hall. The SET admit card will be treated as the entry ticket to the centre.  To ensure that a candidate doesn't use proxy candidate for taking the exam, admit card and original photo ID is checked at the exam centre. 

No, candidates will not need to require to fill a different SET application form if they belong to a reserved category. The SET application form is the same for all candidates, and they have to choose their category during the registration process (Part 1) of SET. 

The conducting authority of Symbiosis Entrance Test takes into consideration the category information provided by candidates while evaluating their application. Depending on the eligibility criteria and reservation policies, candidates belonging to reserved categories may be eligible for specific benefits or relaxations in terms of seats, cutoff scores, or other criteria.
