Yes, a candidate can apply after passing the supplementary exam. The minimum eligibility to apply for the course is that the candidates must have passed 10+2 with 45% as aggregate. Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview based on marks obtained in qualifying exam. A student who has completed his/her 10+2 education with minimum 60% aggregate marks and is from the science and maths background can take up a diploma course in engineering which is of one year and then can directly take admission to the B.Tech after Diploma.

Both are private colleges and placements are also average in the same. Hence it won't make much difference. But still, you can slightly give more preference to Manav Rachna University. For updated information, it is advisable to get in touch with the current students or alumni.
