Preparation for any exam begins with laying hands on syllabus. Then one should make a time table keeping in mind the time available for studies prior to exam. The subjects must have already been studied by the students while appearing for undergraduate examinations. So the time table should take care of this fact and lay emphasis on brushing up topics that one feels needs more studies. Along with the study one must plan time for exercise, yoga & pranayam. These three things will keep body & mind healthy do that one does not fall sick during examination time and misses on all important exams. Last but not the least, important is to keep aside time for relaxation. Nobody can study continuously and needs relaxation. If one follows the strategy as above then I am sure success is yours.

Arts, Humanity and Commerce are very different branches as Science. Yes, it is difficult to get into Science and Engineering if one doesn't have a pre base. There are lot of examples of people switching from science to arts but not vice versa. This is because the complexity cannot be understood by self.
A person should be sure of what to do while choosing streams. The longer the correct career clicks, the more difficult it is.
Long story short, yes, one can say so that it is difficult to start career in Science when there is no proper background.
But having said this, nothing is impossible, if a person has good mathematics skills it can be easier. But yes, a person should have a basic knowledge of Science and what, why and how a person is going to do should be very clear.

Geography is the subject which can be studied by any student from any discipline. There is NOT any criteria that only arts students can take admission. The eligibility criteria for getting admission in Geography is different for different levels. For undergraduate level. You just have to pass 10+2 from any recognized board. Some university also conduct entrance exam for these subjects. For Masters level, you have to passed 10+2+3 pattern from UGC recognized university. There is no minimum age limit has been set by the government.
