It has been ranked at the 10th position among the India's top arts colleges by India Today.
It has many accreditations like grade 'A' by NAAC. It is a well-known college as well as highly preferred for arts and humanities courses.
MOP Vaishnav is also a good one, but among these two, Stella Maris is the better choice.

DAV College, Sector 10 is one of the best colleges in Chandigarh for BA as they give you golden opportunities to prove yourself in academics as well as in co-curricular activities. It leaves MCM college way too far behind.
I am also doing my BA 2nd year in DAV and I must say that the college is just brilliant, teachers are so supportive and have so much subject knowledge that you can clear your doubts very easily. The elections, parties and competitions give you so much confidence to speak in public at any situation. All the people who take admissions in other colleges later regret as DAV attracts them, so if you don't want to regre

Here is the preparation strategy for TISSNET to avoid some of the common mistakes in the exam:
Getting through HRM & LR programme at TISS Mumbai involves three stages:
TISSNET
Group Discussion and Essay
Personal Interview
TISSNET: It is an online aptitude exam and is divided in three sections (weightage is roughly equal for each section, though subject to change every year):
Quant: If you are already preparing for other management exams then you will find the Quantitative Aptitude questions to be fairly easy. However, if you are only aiming for TISSNET then I would suggest you to cover all Quant topics that are covered in management exams
