Many students have shared their opinions on Shivaji University BA courses. As per students' reviews on Shiksha,  the highest and average packages offered during the placements stood at INR 9 LPA and INR 2.9 LPA, respectively. However, the reviews also suggest that the opportunities for BA students are limited. The chances of getting placed depend on students' knowledge and skillset. Some students also opt for off-campus placements.

Note: In the absence of the official placements report, the above information is presented based on student reviews on Shiksha.

The allocation process for Shivaji University BSc seats differs based on the choice of specialisation. Allocation of a few BSc seats is done based on scores obtained in the entrance exam. On the other hand, few seats are allocated based on applicants' scores obtained in Class 12. Students can visit the official website of the institute to apply more.

MGMBIT placements are competitive among biosciences and yet a little lower compared to CSMU. Generally, 60-70% placements are abided by MGMIBT with average packages of INR 3-4 Lacs per annum from industries like Biocon or Serum Institute, whereas CSMU covers the placement from 70-80% based on their wide programs and an average of INR 4-5 Lacs.

Both universities are good places, on a regional basis, but CSMU is slightly better with regard to volume and salary as of early 2025, according to usual trends.
