The number of applicants are generally 5500 to 6000. However this is an administration matter so we do not have exact numbers.
A score of 250 would be good for getting a GD PI call.

I am also a student like you. .so don't know the expected difficulty level of this year's exam.
Just prepare well and give your best shot, instead of worrying about the difficulty level of exam.

For the SOP, you basically need to write a brief intro of yourself and then why you want to do MBA from SRCC. You could also talk about your interests and expectations.

Since I have not much idea about KJ somaiya, I can only tell you what you can expect at SRCC GBO.
As a student , you will have some of the best faculty, great exposure and a highly conducive environment along with supportive management which will help you take any initiative and go ahead with it.
The level of grooming is amazing since students are encouraged to take initiative and the onus to complete the tasks also lies on them only :)
So all the best.

You just need to elaborate on the pointers mentioned for the SOP.
