SHUATS - Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences

There are more than 40 courses which all have different fee structure, however here are some general courses fees, there will be one time fee of inr 10000 approximately for all courses, then for majority of BSc courses the fees per semester is around INR 55k for all the 8 semesters.

For BSc in computer Science the fees is much less around INR 31k per semester for 6 semesters.

The eligibility criteria for doing MBA at SHUATS Allahabad is that you must have completed a bachelor's degree like BTech, BSc, or equivalent.

And that too in the degree you must have secured atleast 50% marks as per the grading system of the university you have completed bachelor's from.

Apart from that the admission process includes an entrance exam which you must qualify and the selection is strictly based on merit. For few programmes admission take place through direct interviews.

Candidates should appear for the SOET ( SHUATS entrance exam test) for getting into SHAUTS Allahabad.  The minimum entrance exam percentile required is 75%ile. After getting shortlisted candidates are called for online counseling. Selection process is based on the score of entrance test exam. Also candidates have to submit required documents for selection procedure.

PG  Courses like-

 M.Tech, M.Sc and other Masters have 1.5 to 2 lac pa.

PGD courses are about 40k to 80k.

PHD courses are 3 to 6lac.

Mba courses are 3 to 4 lacs. 

SHAUTS takes its own test SOET ( SHAUTS online entrance exam) given to take admission in this college. The safe score is above 90% to crack this test if you are in general category and above 85% for obc/st/sc. Reservation is also there for obc/sc/st.  Once you are shortlisted you are called for online counseling. Necessary documents are required.  Also you should have good percentage, above 80% marks in 10th and 12th.

SHUATS is a reputed college in allahabad. It provides courses like graduates, post graduates and doctoral programs. You can get your admission by their entrance test which is strictly based on merit.  You should also have a good percentage in your 10th and 12th. Candidates also have to appear for online counseling.  The courses offered are from 2 lacs to 3 lacs pa.  This college also offers decent placements.  90% students are placed. Particularly courses in agriculture and Science is good. 

For doing MBA (Master of Business administration)-

SHUATS - Shuats offers total of 60 seats for MBA programme and the tuition fees for the whole programme is roughly around INR 2.6 Lakhs.

GBPSSI - On the other hand GBPSSI offers a total of 46 seats with the total tuition fee of INR 86k.

By far SHUATS is more expensive than GBPSSI for doing MBA in terms of tuition fee.

GBPSSI only offers MBA and MPhil courses meanwhile SHUATS offers a variety of courses which includes 27 degrees and 243 courses in total.

SHUATS does not offer better placements than the other NSUT.

SHUATS (Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences) does not participate in JEE Main Counselling 2023 conducted by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). Therefore, there is no JEE 2023 Counselling schedule at SHUATS. However, SHUATS conducts its own counseling process for admission to its engineering courses. Candidates who have qualified for JEE Main 2023 and meet the eligibility criteria for SHUATS can apply for admission to the university through its counseling process. The minimum eligibility to apply for B.Sc. in Biotechnology from National Institute of Management and Technology is 45% marks in class 12. Interested candidates can apply online/offline with the required information. Admissions are based on the marks obtained in 10+2 examination.
