Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology is a good college for B.Tech as they have a good placement record, and the institute offers engineering courses in diversified fields. The institute offers B.E. courses in 13 specializations and also includes Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. In 2024, the institute achieved an amazing placement record of 99.5% for the engineering students. the highest was 34 LPA and the average was around 6-7 LPA. MVIT is accredited by NAAC. This institute is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University. The infrastructures need upgrades, but academic environment support students here.

For getting admission in branches like computer Science and engineering you need to come within the rank of 20000 for the general category through All India Quota.
